through the eye of the artist

In late 2002, I collaborated on a project with the artist Mark Willems, in which I documented several sessions of him drawing nude models and dancers. In early 1993, the Jerry Miller Gallery in Palm Springs, California, mounted an exhibit of our work, with Mark’s original drawings hanging next to my photographs taken during their creation.
